UNCA Xtet Quartet

The UNC Asheville XTet, directed by Jacob Rodriguez, is the senior-most student jazz ensemble from the music department at University of North Carolina at Asheville. Featuring primarily student-composed and arranged works, the group’s repertoire moves through swing, modern jazz, funk, bossa nova, and beyond. After making their debut at Hotel Eve in January to an enthusiastic room, the XTet returns by popular request from our clientele. Expect a dynamic set of original music, bold improvisation, and the vibrant energy of Asheville’s next generation of jazz artists. They put on quite a show, don’t miss this one... Weekend reservations are recommended. Limited door tickets may be available for each show on a first-come, first-served basis.
