Sugar Bomb | Featuring Jason Chrisman

Sugar Bomb is a groove-driven jazz trio formed in 2023 in Asheville. Known for their modern, playful, and refreshing sound, the group ~Jacob Bruner, Eli Kahn and Joe Enright ~ draws from influences spanning jazz, fusion, hip-hop, classical, and electronic music, creating a high-energy, improvisation-forward sound.

For this performance they are joined by Jason Chrisman on Sax. Jason Chrisman (Manhattan School of Music Graduate) is an accomplished freelance saxophonist, music instructor, and visual artist based in Asheville, North Carolina. Primarily recognized as a skilled tenor saxophone player, he is an active figure in the local improvisational and contemporary jazz scenes.
