Brad Walker Presents WBST

WBST brings together three acclaimed artists from New Orleans and North Carolina for an evening of modern jazz. Featuring saxophonist Brad Walker, known for his work with Grammy-winning artist Sturgill Simpson and appearances on Saturday Night Live, drummer and composer Alfred Sergel IV, whose original music has been recognized by NPR Music and JAZZIZ Magazine, and bassist Matt Booth, an internationally performing composer and educator based in Durham, NC.

Brad Walker is one of New Orleans' most sought-after saxophonists, celebrated for his powerful and expressive playing. He has released five albums as a bandleader and has performed on major stages including Saturday Night Live, the Grammy Awards, and The Tonight Show.

Alfred Sergel IV is a drummer and composer whose music blends modern jazz with strong melodic sensibilities. His work has been featured by NPR Music and JAZZIZ Magazine and has reached the national jazz charts.

Matt Booth is a bassist, composer, and educator whose work spans jazz, improvisation, and contemporary music. A longtime fixture of the New Orleans scene, he is currently based in Durham, NC, where he leads and collaborates on numerous creative projects.
