Join us in the Hotel Eve courtyard for an afternoon with Mr Jimmy, featuring a special guest and a program moving between jazz standards, blues and the deep Chicago tradition that has defined his career.

Asheville-based guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Jim “Ang” Anderson "Mr Jimmy" spent decades on Chicago’s South Side and is the founder and longtime frontman of The Chicago Kingsnakes, performing more than 4,000 shows over the course of his career. He has shared the stage with blues greats including Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Junior Wells, James Cotton and Little Milton, and relocated to Asheville in 2018.

In the event of inclement weather, the performance will move indoors to the Hotel Eve listening room.

Seating is first come, first served. Arrive early to secure a seat! The Hotel Eve Bar is Open to all at 3:45pm.
