Saxophonist and composer Jack Wilkins recently retired as Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of South Florida School of Music where he was Director of the Jazz Studies program. After retiring, Jack moved back to his native state of North Carolina and has been performing at a variety of venues around the state.
Jack Wilkins leads his own groups in live concerts, performing his original music along with classic jazz compositions. His big saxophone sound, energetic performances and appealing musical offerings in combination with the master musicians in his groups have been pleasing audiences around the state.
Jack Wilkins has seven CD’s out as a leader and he is a featured soloist on the critically-acclaimed recordings by Chuck Owen and the Jazz Surge, including “Whispers on the Wind” for which he was a Grammy award finalist as a performer and as the saxophone soloist on “River Runs: A Concerto for Jazz Guitar, Saxophone and Orchestra”.
Jack’s latest CD project – “Acadian Rhythms” features original musical compositions and performances inspired by his appointment as Artist-in-Residence at Acadia National Park in Maine.
For this special performance, Wilkins is joined by the Page Brothers - Zack (bass) & Andy (guitar).

Weekdays: No upfront ticket charge is required for reservations; however, a $10 cover per guest will be collected at the door. You are welcome to stay for both sets with a single cover charge. If staying for both sets under a single seating chart, please ensure you reserve in both time slots. You may also choose to purchase admission at the door for more flexible arrival times.
