The Queen Sessions at Hotel Eve | A celebration of the legendary women who shaped jazz.

Hotel Eve proudly presents The Queen Sessions, a concert series curated by Melissa McKinney, honoring the iconic voices that defined generations of jazz.

Saara Maria is an Asheville based singer songwriter with a strong connection to jazz and Neo Soul. Her origins in music began early in childhood when she heard Miss Sarah Vaughn and Ella Fitgerald for the first time. Their ability to transform their voices into abstract sounds both moved and inspired her. Raised in a family with a strong classical background, jazz was a fresh sound that soon became a way of life. Performing every genre imaginable in different projects throughout her career (including hip hop and jazz infused "Joomanji") jazz, has alway been a defining undercurrent in her style and delivery. Currently she is writing songs for and performing with her band Kaiora which has both jazz and neo soul influence. She will be releasing music this coming year.
