Joseph Foglia

Joseph Foglia is a tenor saxophonist, composer, and educator based primarily in Harlem, New York City. A dynamic performer with a deep respect for the jazz tradition, Joseph is passionate not only about presenting music at the highest level, but also about fostering a strong and vibrant community around jazz.

A three-time recipient of the New Jersey Jazz Society Merit Scholarship Award, Joseph has performed alongside acclaimed musicians including Etienne Charles, Dayna Stephens, Taylor Eigsti, Al Strong, Jerry Weldon, and Michael Ode.

Following the release of his debut record, The Three Ears, Joseph now leads his own band, bringing together a reverence for the lineage of jazz with a distinctive and evolving personal voice. Through his work as a performer, composer, and educator, he remains dedicated to honoring the music’s history while contributing his own vision to its future.
