Multi-instrumentalist Melody Cooper brings a genre-blending evening to the courtyard for a free show (moved indoors in the case of inclement weather). Drop in 5-8pm!

Originally from New York City, Melody’s career has included performances at Lincoln Center with Dexter Gordon, appearances at Smalls with Rashied Ali, and years performing in Key West with projects ranging from chamber music to Motown revues and original theatrical works. Now based in WNC, Melody combines her love of jazz vocals with the expressive beauty of the harp in a unique trio setting featuring rich strings, inventive improvisation, and timeless jazz standards.
