Jamie Hendrickson Quartet

The Jamie Hendrickson Quartet is an Asheville-based group led by guitarist and composer Jamie Hendrickson. Drawing from the lineage of Wes Montgomery, Pat Martino, George Benson, and John Scofield, the band blends classic jazz standards with modern interpretations and original compositions. With an emphasis on groove, melodic improvisation, and deep swing, they deliver dynamic performances that honor tradition while pushing the music forward.

Jamie Hendrickson is an Asheville-based guitarist, composer, songwriter and producer whose work moves fluidly through jazz, funk, soul and improvisational music. A co-founder, longtime guitarist and musical director of Asheville’s The Fritz, Hendrickson spent years touring nationally while helping shape the band’s distinctive blend of funk, soul and rock.

As a writer and producer, Hendrickson has been behind an extensive catalog of original music, including The Fritz’s Echoand Take Your Time, the latter featuring legendary keyboardist John Medeski. Today, his creative work extends across projects including Auspicious Golden Fish, Electro Lust and the Jamie Hendrickson Quartet.
